Prayer 1

Lord you are the whole of which everything we see or imagine is but a small part. Thank you when you are the stranger that we meet but do not recognise; the one who talks to and heals the despised and rejected. Thank you for being with all alone in their final hour or hardest moment. When fear and disease overwhelm, your love has no boundaries and we can trust you.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Prayer 2

Lord, thank you for the kindness and support being shown to those confined to their homes. We pray that, when the present crisis is past, we become a society understanding how to love one another as you have loved us.

Lord we pray that you will bless us and keep us, let your gracious countenance shine upon us and give us peace. Amen
